“ My sister in law ordered the brisket and corn bread for Father's Day. It was a big hit all around! She said the owner was so nice and extra diligent when accommodating my son's severe gluten allergy to make sure there was no cross contamination. We live in PA, but will make sure the brisket guy will be a staple for our future family gatherings. ”
“ When you call yourself "The Brisket Guy", you'd better be able to live up to the title. Trevon, the "Guy" himself, does total justice to the name. Husband & I stopped in recently for a late lunch and were so glad we did. Sharing a brisket sandwich, cole slaw and skin-on potato salad, we enjoyed our meal in the spotless dining room whose walls were adorned with amusing BBQ pictures. The brisket was tender and smokey, the potato salad perfectly mayo-ed (is that a word?) and the slaw pink and slightly sweet. Trevon brought us BBQ sauce on the side and some hot sauce in a cup that could have spontaneously combusted it was so spicy. Be warned - it is delicious, but a little bit will be more than enough! At the counter, Trevon and Joe were so nice and welcoming (as was Nathaniel on the phone when I called to check some details). A bonus during our stay in the dining room was hearing peals of the most amazing laughter coming from the kitchen. As we were leaving we asked whom the laughter belonged to. Lovely Michelle came out from the back to give us another whoop and we all joined in. We will def be back to enjoy other selections, some of which are Smoked Wings (Friday - Sunday only), and either by the pound meats or sliders, bowls, and sandwiches of Brisket, Ribs, Pulled Pork, Smoked Chicken and an amazing assortment of Fries (Brisket Mac Fries, Oh My!) and other sides. Great food, lovely people and unforgettable laughter - a perfect lunch! ”

“ Living in the northeast, I am always on the hunt for some good barbecue and the spot definitely makes the list! In the heart of Springfield NJ lies some of the most tender brisket you will ever try. I love good home cooking where you can tell. Everything was made from scratch and with Love from the brisket to the pulled pork to the mac & cheese to the cornbread. Everything was absolute incredible. The owner himself as they're making sure everything is on point.. I will be back to try to rest the menu. I'm anxious to try the fried chicken! ”
“ Ah, we meat again! ;) Excellent everything! Obviously, plenty of low and slow love goes into their tender brisket, pulled pork flavored with a hint of citrus, tasty fried chicken, and slightly spicy chili. Even their buttery Cornbread was amazing! Their $15 dollar Bowls are a deal which lasted me about 2 meals. They come with your choice of protein and base of Mac & Cheese, Coconut Spinach Rice, or Mashed Potatoes and plenty of BBQ sauce which I all recommend. They also offer meat by the half-pound and cater. Let's meat!
